The Zambia Development Agency is collaborating with the Port of Beira through the Port Authority Cornelder De Mocambique to organize the 2nd Beira Corridor Zambia conference on Thursday 26 September, 2019 in Ndola at Protea Hotel from 1400Hrs to 1700Hrs, and the Beira Corridor Corporate Golf Day on the next day 27th September, 2019 at Ndola Golf Club from 0730Hrs to 1300Hrs. The events are free to attend upon online registration.
Copperbelt Provincial Minister Honourable Japhet Mwakalombe, MP will officiate at the 2nd Beira conference to be held in Ndola. The event has attracted Beira’s stakeholders as speakers addressing developments and new opportunities on the logistics chain on Beira Corridor. Among the list of speakers include, Cornelder de Moçambique, SA, the Mozambique Port and Railways Authority (CFM), Customs (Alfândegas de Beira), Transport Associations, freight forwarders and transit agents.
The 2nd edition of the conference is seeking strategic partnerships with the mining province to attract and impress on stakeholders the need to create strategic alliances in cross border trading and transportation of goods and services on the Beira Corridor. The conference presents great prospects for the Copperbelt region to open and exploit business opportunities that exist in the Beira Corridor. The Corridor provides Zambia with an alternative and cheaper route for exporters and importers and brings about competitiveness from within the region resulting in reduced cost of doing business.
