Lodge accommodation
The double rooms are simply decorated. Each room is a mix of straightforward home comfort with a Zambian flavour identified in the colours, local wooden furniture and easy going layouts. The main house holds five of the double rooms and a twin room and the remainder of the accommodation is made up of chalets dotted around the gardens. Rooms range in price (from $30 to $50 per night) according to the services provided which include satellite TV, air conditioning, a tea and coffee making facility, in-room mini bar and writing table. A laundry services is also available.
Restaurant and lounge
The emphasis of the restaurant is on good home cooking and there is ample opportunity for guests to sample Zambia's traditional dishes that ooze with fresh flavours. You'll enjoy authentic meals like local village chicken, 'ifisashi' (vegetables in peanut soup) 'vinkubala' (butterfly caterpillars) and grills, all prepared to order. In the mornings, the continental or full English breakfast is served either in the restaurant or in the gardens. The lounge has a rustic feel. Guests can choose which setting best suits them.
Bar area
The outside lounge bar is traditionally thatched with hand-painted African artwork on all its walls. It is well stocked with a variety of wines, spirits, ciders and lagers, and open at the sides with a relaxing easy going feel. The TV enthusiast will feel right at home! You can also enjoy local Zambian music played on the 'Malimba' (a traditional Lozi xylophone).
The garden
