Students attend conference at the United Nations Office in Nairobi

The East Africa Middle School Model United Nations Conference is taking place at the United Nations Office in Nairobi.

The MUN conference simulates the activities of the real United Nations Organisation and aims to build up the confidence, as well as enhance the debating and leadership skills of the students. More than 1500 students from various African countries are currently taking part in the conference.

The theme of the conference this year is "Nilikuja, Niliona, Nilitenda" a Kiswahili phrase that translates to "I came, I saw and I took action".

The International School of Lusaka is confident that their participating students and accompanying teachers will bring back a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with the wider ISL community.
