The Barefeet team will be travelling to the Western Province to implement the Zambian Female Youths Livelihood and Nutrition Enhancement Project in collaboration with Concern Worldwide Zambia.
Barefeet intends to train youth clubs in Kaoma and Limulunga Districts. The purpose of the training is to mentor and build the capacity of local drama groups in effective messaging during community mobilisation, performances and community engagement on topics such as risks of teenage pregnancies, access to reproductive health services, sexual and gender based violence.
The team will also talk about the importance of diversified homestead food production and the farming of local vegetables.
