Kasanka was extremely happy to invite the Kasanka Village Banking Group to go for a game drive last Wednesday. They were able to see: vervet monkeys, hippos, crocodiles, puku, and a large variety of birds (including the African Fish-Eagle).
This was extremely beneficial to the group and the park as the members live in surrounding villages, but have never been able to experience what this park has to offer. They have been told of the animals, but have never been able to see them themselves.
This experience will give the park a very positive voice in the communities, and Kasanka Trust hopes that it can decrease poaching within the park.
