Lost dog

This young female Great Dane cross found herself in office premises along Alick Nkata Road yesterday, close to the Kamloops road through Kalingalinga.

She was this morning taken to LAWS Shelter to be cared for until her owner comes to find her.

She is quite beautiful, black and white, known as Harlequin colouring. Her eyes are blue, with some gold colour in her left eye, which is very distinctive.

LAWS is appealing for her owner to find her as she is obviously from a good home.

If you recognise her please get call LAWS on number below or visit them inside the Council Yard on Sadzu Road, behind Levy Mall.

Note: Proof of ownership is required.

Formed in 1993, the Lusaka Animal Welfare Society (LAWS) is a registered charity that provides the care, treatment, rehabilitation and re-homing of abused domestic animals. It is currently the only organisation in Lusaka that does this work. LAWS manages a small shelter on Sadzu Road in Lusaka, Zambia and can house up to 30 dogs and 10 cats at a time. This organisation de-worms, vaccinates, treats, neuters and homes all rescued animals.
