Jeremy Awori, appointed as incoming CEO of Ecobank Group

Ecobank are excited to announce that the Board of Directors of Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI or Ecobank Group) has appointed Jeremy Awori as the new Ecobank Group CEO. He will succeed Ade Ayeyemi, who will be retiring after he attains the age of 60, in accordance with ETI Policy. Jeremy brings a wealth of experience, skills and industry expertise to our banking group having worked across multiple businesses and geographies across Africa, South Asia and the Middle East. He has developed and implemented multiple successful digital transformation initiatives.

Ade Ayeyemi will continue to serve as Group CEO until his retirement.
