The second annual tiger fishing challenge took place on the 10th to 12th December. It involves lots of excitement, fun, socialising, great food and predictably lots of fishing! This event is hosted by Eagles Rest Resort in Siavonga and was great success with nine teams participating. Unsurprisingly plenty of fish were caught and a total of 57.3Kg of fish was reeled in between team members.
The results were as follows:
- Biggest tiger, 2.46Kg — Kyle Mathews from Zimbabwe
- Biggest other tiger (men), 2.36Kg — Musa Daya from Zambia
- Biggest other tiger (ladies), 1.66Kg — Lucy McIntosh from Zambia
- Biggest other tiger (junior), 0.98Kg — Megan Fagyas from Zambia
- Biggest bream, 1.62Kg — Rainer Ihmann from Zambia
- Biggest other species, 8.78Kg — Richard Mathews from Zimbabwe
- Total catch team points, 750 points — Kakuli made up of Jumbo, Mario, Musa, and Alister from Zambia
