How did you hear about the Best of Zambia competition and what were your thoughts about it?Through the monthly newsletter from the Best of Zambia.

Why did you decide to become a sponsor for the Best of Zambia competition? We have had tremendous support from you. I thought it was time to support you whilst also promoting our juices — it’s great collaboration.

You offering a year’s supply of Lynx juices. please tell us a little bit more about your range of juices. We have four juice products — Lynx Guava Juice, Lynx Mango Juice, Lynx Pineapple Juice and Lynx Orange Juice. It would be nice to have them in a home for the family and for entertaining.

Lynx juices are known for their natural ingredients and the added vitamin C, why did you decide to go with natural ingredients?Nature is for lack of a better term “complete.” Anything that is natural is complete and is as the Almighty created it. It will be good, has natural benefits and succours. With our juice range, we wanted to offer a range of good quality products that are as close to the natural fruit as possible.

Are there any health benefits to drinking Lynx Juices?Because we keep the juices as natural as possible and made from natural ingredients, Lynx Juices are far better for you to drink than other processed drinks. With this range we have chosen not to include certain ingredients such as artificial sweeteners.

Where is your juice manufactured? Here in Zambia at 28 Shinde Street in Ndola.

What has the response to your range of drinks been like on the Zambian market? It has been reasonably good and satisfactory. Guava juice has proven to be the most popular flavour and we sell the most of our products in Kitwe. We are pleased that most major supermarkets and retailers now stock Lynx juices.

Are the juices the only products you make? No, we make syrups as well. Whilst are juices are made from natural ingredients, our syrups are made from a range of ingredients including synthetic flavours. In terms of volume, our biggest seller is the Cream Soda Syrup.

Lynx Juices is a member of The Best of Zambia website. Why did you sign on to the Best of Zambia and what has your experience with us been like? The Best of Zambia signifies the best in Zambia. We aspire to be, and have been making quality products that are arguably the best in Zambia.

What are your plans for the growth of the company in the next few years? We are in the process of upgrading our manufacturing processes to achieve more efficiency. We have acquired machinery for this process. We will expand and attain growth and introduce more natural products. We also plan to get into even more supermarkets, increase awareness about our products and make more of our drinks available in the smaller ‘ready to drink’ size.
