In August 2011 a team will row three sculling boats 1,000 kilometres along the upper Zambezi River from Zambia’s border with Angola to Victoria Falls in Zambia. The Row Zambezi crew aim to raise £50,000 for Village Water. If you missed the blog about how this rowing adventure came to be then here it is.
You can also watch what Tim Cook has to say about his big idea here.
The majority of the rowing crew is based in UK and on Sunday the 22nd of May 2011 you are invited to join them for a boat blessing and BBQ. Official merchandise will be available for sale and guests will be able to go out on the water in Row Zambezi Boats!
