The Zambia ICT & Pay Expo 2015
The ICT & Pay Expo is here again!! Africast is the mastermind behind this annual event. In 2015 the Zambia ICT & Pay Expo (ICTP2015) will take place 27th — 28th February. And Mulungushi International Conference Centre is the place to be.
This is the 3rd and most exciting Zambia ICT & Pay Expo, bringing together two allied sectors: Information and Communication Technology and the ever expanding Electronic Payments sector. Because the two complement each other so well, Africast has merged them into this one landmark event.
Hon. Yamfwa Mukanga MP Minister of Transport, Works, Supply & Communications is to Open ICTP2015, and he will be the keynote speaker.
The theme this year is “Innovations in ICT and Payments at 50: Key to the Future”.
ICTP2015 is offering a highly interactive networking forum, with both local and international companies attending, ranging from retailers, software developers, and ICT and electronic payment buyers. It also promises added value through several seminars and workshops to be staged over the two days.
All in all, this event looks like an excellent opportunity to get a comprehensive overview of ICT trends and the latest electronic payment concepts, as well as to network with suppliers, providers and other professionals. For the registration form, click here.
The vision
The vision of the ICTP2015 organisers is for delegates and everyone in attendance to come away with tangible benefits, such as:
- awareness of the economic and competitive impacts of ICT on their business
- insight and solutions into matters affecting their ICT usage now and in the future
- a clearer understanding of the two markets (ICT and electronic payments) and the opportunities they present
- practical tools for success
The program
The official opening of ICTP2015 will take place between 11.00 and 13.00 hrs on Friday 27 Feb. A special forum divided into various topics will take place throughout Friday. The forum
A special forum will be held throughout Friday to address real issues in the ICT and electronic payments sector, and offer solutions.
The Best of Zambia is proud to announce that it will be presenting the topic ‘Essentials of online marketing and social media’. We will be touching on content marketing, online advertising options and how social media is rewriting everything.
Other topics include e-Government, the future of payments in Zambia, mobile money, and gaming and robotics devices.
