Places of worship businesses in Zambia

A place of worship is a specially designed structure or consecrated space where individuals or a group of people such as a congregation come to perform acts of devotion, veneration, or religious study. Temples, churches, mosques, synagogues, and meeting places are examples of structures created for worship. Under International Humanitarian Law and the Geneva Conventions, religious buildings are offered special protection. These international laws of war bar firing upon or from a religious building. Places of worship are a priceless part of Zambia’s built heritage and worshipers have to balance the needs of congregations with the desirability of conserving Zambia’s heritage.
