Let’s take a look back at one of the most thoughtful (and competitive!) events from the Trident Festival — the Parents vs Students Chess Games!
Our young minds were definitely put to the test, picking up a few clever moves from their seasoned opponents. With 5 parents and 10 students battling it out across the boards, the games were intense, strategic, and full of learning moments.
In the end, the parents walked away with 11 points, while our brilliant students scored 4 points — not bad against some tough competition!
A special shoutout to our star parent player, Mr. Kalumba, who played 9 games and won all 9!
Our students are already looking forward to next year’s rematch — armed with new strategies.
